Penticton Christian School is pleased to be hosting Ready, Set, Learn on April 20th. This is an open house for parents and children that are ready to start school in September. The open house is a chance to meet the PCS teachers, staff and get a tour of the school. Children will have activities to complete and the friendly atmosphere will show them that school really is a fun place to be. We hope to see you there. RSVP would be appreciated.

If you have a child born in 2011 you are undoubtedly planning for September. It's a big milestone when your little person is ready to start school. As the parent you want to make sure that you are making the best possible choice to set your child up for success. We would strongly suggest that you tour a few schools. Tour your public school option and your independent school option and make decision that feels right for your family. As a mother myself I can honestly say that independent school was one of the best decisions I've made as parent. The result is a happy well educated, well adjusted child. It's just that easy.

On August the 8th PCS had the distinct pleasure of entering a float into one of the largest parades in the Okanagan! 81 floats graced the streets of Penticton in a show of fun times and sparkles. Our PCS float was well received and enjoyed by all. As a float rider myself, I particularly enjoyed that our float drew applause from those parade goers up and down the sidewalks of Penticton. It was a joy to participate in! I'm also fairly certain the children has a most wonderful time and Scott had the honor of pulling the float with his jeep! We kept all the decorations so look for us again next year! Good times were had all around! We'll always need smiling faces to ride the float!
